Our storydolls are made in the mountains of Western North Carolina. Loretta learned from her mother Elouise Renfro. Mrs Renfro made traditional story dolls and sold them to supliment her income. Loretta is carrying on her family tradition. We are lucky enough to enjoy her skill and craftsmanship today.
